With a wide variety of meads, Atheling Downtown is the perfect setting for date nights, catching up with friends after work, or simply enjoying the ambiance. The events calendar includes live musical performances and other unique offerings.

The Bibliopub - 416 Campbell Ave SW

A reader’s cozy refuge. The BiblioPub sells new and used books while providing a cozy place to read a book with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine (or a cold pint). They also have locally made baked goods, soups, and sandwiches.

Roanoke Gas Company delivers safe, reliable, and affordable energy. in 1883, RGC began producing manufactured gas to replace the usage of oil and kerosene to light the city’s lamps and continued to grow as demand increased, eventually spreading to Salem and Vinton. In 1950, Roanoke Gas Company moved from producing manufactured gas in local plants to tapping into natural gas pipelines in the region for distribution. Today, they serve approximately 55,000 households and deliver around 10 million decatherms each year!
