Cheer on Cycling Champions 🚵♂️
The USA Cycling Endurance Mountain Bike National Championships are happening now in Roanoke! The race schedule includes two days of Short Track races on July 16-17 at Elmwood Park. Over 1,900 of the top mountain bikers from around the country are participating in the event, so downtown is expected to have additional foot traffic. Join the fun Wednesday and Thursday— the races in Elmwood will be a fantastic scene for fans and spectators alike.
DRI recommends retailers and restaurants make the cyclists feel welcome by creating cute artwork on your A-frames!
Sign Up for the Sidewalk Sale! 🛍️
Retailers, rejoice! The annual Sidewalk Sale returns to Roanoke on August 23rd in conjunction with the Bee Festival. Businesses will set up tables outside, providing customers with an opportunity to check out the sales items and see what else is offered inside. Additionally, we’ll have a few downtown retailers set up in Market Square. Preference is given to those with storefronts located further away from the Square.
Vibe to Billy Currington & Kip Moore 🎸

Join us in Elmwood Park on Friday, July 25th, as we bring Billy Currington & Kip Moore to the Budweiser Summer Series! Grab your tickets now because in advance tickets are just $59 per person plus taxes and fees. The price increases on show day!
